The project has been developed on a part-by-part basis with one trade following another, all under the joint project management of AC | A and the client.

The converted two storey, grade II listed 17 Century Barn at Rosehill, Erbistock, has the best of both worlds! It has all the modern facilities, space requirements and information services of any state of the art office space, yet is able to offer this high quality commodity set within a beautifully restored- oak framed rural barn, with outstanding views across open countryside.

The design allows for much of the barns existing features to remain on show and shines a light on the historical fabric of the building, yet provides the comfort of a working environment required by today’s world. High quality thermal insulation, dense thermal massing created within the buildings materials, and efficient, economical heating and hot water systems give the end users the sound knowledge that this building performs well all year round, whether it is snowing outside or a barmy 30degrees.

The flexible office accommodation gives potential tenants the freedom to expand or contract floor space as they see fit. Separate internal ‘bays’, dictated by the existing, internal oak beams, offers different sized areas that can be either separated or interconnected. The conversion has allowed for disabled access provisions throughout the majority of the ground floor.

Sat within the curtilage of various other listed structures and surrounded by attractive rural grounds with ponds, woodland and gravel top driveways, Rosehill Barn is the perfect rural retreat for any business looking to escape the traffic and pollution of the towns and cities.
